Your phone is built to take your attention. NowFocus gives it back: it blocks what distracts you, and makes leaving a session early a decision instead of a reflex.
NowFocus is a deep-work app for Android, macOS and Windows: start a session and the apps and sites you chose go dark until the timer ends. It runs on your device, so what you block and what you try to open never reaches us.
Pick a Focus Profile, the apps and sites you want out of the way, and a length.
Blocked apps are covered by a full-screen message, and blocked sites simply won’t load. On Android and macOS the message is a calm “This can wait.” with a one-tap call or text to someone who matters, or a reminder of a goal you set.
Choose how hard quitting is: any time, Strict (type a short sentence, then wait 30 seconds), or Locked, with no early exit until the timer ends.
Quitting early is possible in Strict mode, but slow and deliberate: type a sentence, then wait 30 seconds. You’re reminded of a goal you set, and on Android and macOS you also hear a 10-second note you recorded to yourself. It becomes a decision, not a reflex.

Your stats are counted on your device and we never see what you browse. No account is needed, and blocking never waits on a server. Sync between devices is optional.

NowFocus is a self-control tool, not a lock on your device. It puts friction in the way of an impulse; someone determined to uninstall it still can.
